Artist Statement:

In my work I explore the complexities of human relationships, both the poignant moments and the confusing gray areas. The paintings are large in scale, usually 5 to 7 feet in dimension and the figures are life size or larger. The people and scenes come from my imagination. I do not use models or photographs and the pictures are not autobiographical snapshots of my life. They do come out of my experience and my thoughts and observations about the world around me.
