Magical realism, a notion distant to life during wartime, has been a refuge throughout history. A sanctuary for the mind to get lost in when times become unbearable. A way to connect back to the archetypes of our disintegrating mythology and bring back the "boon", or knowledge and understanding, that lay inert in us today. |
